The Barrel Maker is a solo project by singer/ songwriter Evan Kuiper, formerly a heavy metal guitar player since childhood. Having been a fan of the true old school and "outlaw" country for many years and after having dealt with too much drama and bullshit from the metal scene finally decided to "pull the pin" and tell it like it is clear as day with nothing to hide behind and no one to blame for not getting the job done. This is truly a lifetime in the making and finally all adds up. Having just finished the recording of the debut EP with Chris Vaughn of Sundiver Studios and with the help of Lochlin Cross on the harmonica it really came together to make something truly unique. This is not kissing any ass nor trying to be bad ass. Just telling it like it is without sugar coating it. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next...
