The Barrel Maker is straight up drinkin' music, not watered down. Telling it like it is, and keeping the Country tradition alive with heavy Rock and Roll roots. 

Founded in 2015 by Evan Kuiper. With a desire to do something different, and no stranger to  late night karaoke, the songs just poured out like shots of whiskey. Within a few short months, recording began for the first EP titled “Maybe One Day” which included 4 hard hitting originals and a cover of Billy Squire's “The Stroke.”

In 2022 Evan travelled to Nashville and recorded debut album “Lonesome Drifter” with an incredible group of players who have shared the stage and studio with some of country's greatest inlcuding: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, George Jones, Jamey Johnson, John Anderson, Alabama, and many more. Needless to say, they knew what to do and it was solid country gold. They recorded 9 original songs and a cover of David Allan Coe's “Spotlight”.

In 2023 Evan assembled a touring band of country renegades. No drama, no BS, just good times and good tunes. From dive bars to music festivals, motorcycle rallies to rodeos they do it all with hillbilly charm.
